Get ready to explore two different stories about what animals see. Find out what is the same and what is different about each story!
No way! Every puppy is special and unique, just like stories!
In this lesson, you will dive into two fun stories about animals and discover what's the same and what's different.
First, watch the read-along video for Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.
The panda bear spotted a bald eagle. Wow!
The bald eagle saw a water buffalo. How exciting!
In this story, animals are busy spotting each other, one after the other!
Next, watch the read-along video for Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.
The brown bear saw a red bird.
The red bird saw a yellow duck!
Like in the other story, the animals see all kinds of different animals, but there are some differences, too!
Something different about these two stories is that each story had different types of animals.
They’re both bears, but the panda bear is black and white, like a cookie, while the brown bear is brown!
The pictures, of course! Pictures of different animals and people were in each story.
In Panda Bear, Panda Bear, there was a dreaming child, but in Brown Bear, Brown Bear, there were teachers and children.
Even though these stories are about animals seeing other animals, each has its own unique pictures, people, and places!
Great job, story detectives!
Now, head to the Got It? section to practice what you’ve learned!
