What If Your Numbers Could Talk?

  • Have you ever counted how many red toy cars you have?
  • Or how many apples are in the fridge?
  • What if you could put those numbers into a magic box on the computer and see them as colorful pictures and lines?

You can!

It’s called a spreadsheet, and it’s kind of like a smart list that helps you sort, count, and even make pictures from your numbers.

Try it!

What is Excel?

Excel is a computer program that helps you look at numbers in a fun way. You can make lists, count things, and turn numbers into shapes and colors!

What’s a Spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet is a big table with rows (across) and columns (up and down). The little boxes are called cells. That’s where you type your words or numbers.
